Happy March! Hope this month has kicked off on a beautiful note for each of you. This month feels like a pure, good one for some reason and I am glowing with all the energy I’m feeling from it. Speaking of feeling—the warm weather has certainly visited us on the East Coast making spring feel an arm’s reach away. You know how everyone has at least one favorite month? For a little mine was summer, mostly in high school, since that was the majority favorite. Then for a time in college it was fall and then it was winter. Now though, as the season changes, so does my favorite and you probably are thinking it already; yes, spring has become my new favorite.
I hope you all are having a lovely + loving February. During this month, remember that giving yourself the love you need not only can benefit yourself, but others around you too. I know, that with this month comes Valentine’s Day; and with Valentine’s Day can come the worries of not having a date or someplace to go or someone to be with and post photos for the gram. Please be easy with yourself. You do not need to be with someone or rush to have a romantic partner/connection just because of one day. Love does not have to romantically involve another person. Love comes in all forms-most importantly coming from the one that should be at the center of it all, yourself.
When I found out that Wet n Wild was coming out with a Photo Focus collection ft. new face products I went gaga. Initially I was going to place an order on their site, but with luck, I happened to stumble upon the collection in a local Walgreens. Don’t you just love when that happens? Plus it’s so much more helpful when it is a face product; that way you can color match right then and there. I ended up picking out two products being the Photo Focus Foundation in Soft Beige and the Photo Focus Pressed Powder in Neutral Buff. I’ve been trying out this duo for the past 2 weeks and have gathered my thoughts about them down below to help any of ya’ll who are thinking about picking these up.
Happy New Year! I hope you have had time to reflect on 2016, let it pass over you and move into 2017 with an open heart and a fresh start, no matter of the happenings in the last year. I hope you welcomed this year with your loved ones, lots of laughs and sweet memories to kick it off on a bright note. If you spent it at home by yourself, snuggled up, eating lots of goodies and watching NYE specials then what a cozy way to start it! If I didn’t have traveling plans it’s exactly what I would have done too. Whichever way you transitioned into the new year I do hope it was one that you enjoyed—one that awakened inspiration within you and got you excited for what is to come.
December has flown by and with Christmas making its way to us this Sunday prepping for it, while planning for NYE, working and staying on top of personal goals has been a bit of a whirlwind. The holiday season is always hectic, but the cozy and lovable vibes in the air seem to get everyone every time. By now I hope you have gathered all of your Christmas gifts and just have gift wrapping to cross off your lists. The majority of my gifts are all stacked up in the corner of my room like a mountain as I type this, just waiting to be wrapped in snowflakes, plaid and ribbons.
